Happy Holidays! FREE Parking in Downtown Hermosa Beach
December 9, 2015 - December 30, 2015FREE
CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH OFFERS FREE DOWNTOWN PARKING
THROUGH DECEMBER 30th
City Continues Holiday Tradition of Offering Three Weeks of Free Parking Within Posted Meter Time Limits
The City of Hermosa Beach once again welcomes visitors throughout Southern California to enjoy the beachside community’s shops, restaurants and downtown area as the City announces the return of the free Holiday Parking Program.
Starting Dec. 9th through Dec. 30th, free parking is available within the posted time limit on bagged meters located in downtown Hermosa. Meters that are included with the program will be clearly marked with red Holiday bags.
The Chamber has a graphic promoting the program! Please contact us if you would like the file emailed or if you prefer a printed copy for display at your location.
Parking is limited to the time posted on the meters! Please tell your patrons to note their signage (2 or 3 hours) in an effort to avoid ticketing.
Lastly, please remind your staff to not use the bagged meters during their shifts to allow maximum availability for shoppers and guests near your location.
HBCCVB has updated the website TrulyHermosa.com with a walking map of Downtown Hermosa Beach that features retail, hospitality and service locations throughout the central business district. Store promotions and holiday specials can be found on individual websites linked from the Chamber’s business directory at HBChamber.net – update your website today and be sure your website is correct on the Chamber’s Business Directory pages.
We are excited that Council approved the extension of holiday parking to December 30th and we hope the extra days after Christmas bring you loyal shoppers, old and new. Please let us know in January how the program impacted you.
“Continuing the tradition of free parking for the holidays allows both residents and visitors alike to visit all of the unique shops here in Hermosa Beach,” states Mayor Carolyn Petty. “There’s also the bonus of dining beachside at some of the South Bay’s best restaurants once you need a break from the holiday bustle.”
